Re: Headlights
If you've found the random on/off issue cause to be wires shorting from broken/cut insulation from firewall damage, do you think that the terminal bright lights issue could come from the same source? Say, maybe the ground wire to the brights is exposed and grounded so the lights see that as a switch...

Re: you know you own an ae86 when....
Same thing with me (sorta). Got a speeding ticket in my '89 ae92 in San Marcos. No badging on the car so the officer wrote Honda on the ticket. Ended up getting it dismissed in court.AznTKDmstr wrote:i got pulled over on the way to an autox and the cop gave my 86 a warning. labeled it as a blue "honda"

Did you ever find a buyer for them? And where are you at? I may be interested.

Looking for RHD dash for ae92
Looking for a RHD dash for my 89 ae92 SR5. Don't need anything else for it because I'm not doing a conversion, just need the dash pad. Anyone know where to source one from? I'm hoping to do a custom dash by sectioning a LHD and a RHD dash together so it will have the instrument cluster hood on each ...

Re: Door handle
I bought new door handles from Toyota... oe ones were broken and springs stretched. I wanna have my buddy Darin fab some all metal door handles. Eliminate the weak link of the plastic. Weak link indeed. I bought my ae92 SR5 in winter in Illinois. The doors kept freezing closed overnite and the seco...

Tell me about it. I was already out of high school when the ae86 first came on the market.

Re: The Japanesse Mule (TE31)
Wow, nice find! The exterior looks to be in great shape... the interior looks to be a ... project. Let me know if you want any help with that. I'd offer to tint that non-a/c'd puppy for you but it actually appears to have a decent film job on it already (but tint always looks good from a distance). ...

Howdy y'all
Wanted to introduce myself. Call me wulfboy or just wulf, and I own a 1989 ae92 Corolla SR5. I found the car in Illinois after moving to St Louis Mo a few years ago to be regional window tint manager for Custom Sounds. It was originally a California car so had very little rust. Shortly before moving...
