Re: installing carbs
running carbs means youll be able to remove all electronically controlled items like your ecu, injectors etc. carbs run with jets/floats etc as the fuel injection system, youll have to either research how to properly adjust jets and level floats so that it doesnt run too lean/rich. make sure the man...

Re: Oil pressure gauge.
try RONS might be able to get a fitting, the 1/8" NPT is translated to 27 TPI, and also, the 4age is tapered/conical. id bring in the stock oil switch and see if rons cant match it up.

Re: Is it safe to run nos on a 20v silvertop?
i mean, i had a stock 20 valve with SDS and stupid bolt ons that ran a 15 flat 1/4 mile.
i wouldnt run nos. imo nos is pointless. build the engine up boost it, cam it whatever but i wouldnt run nos but thats just me.

Re: 4ac-4age swap question, GTS rear end necessary?
woah woah woah...sr20 swap is easier than 20v into SR5? I was referring to the 16v v 20v swap. One thing to remember with the 20v swap, your putting in a motor that was designed for a fwd car into a rwd car. Aswell with any of these swaps your taking a car set up for carb and turning it EFI, that w...

Re: 4ac-4age swap question, GTS rear end necessary?
I did my first 20 valve swap on my old car when i was a senior ages ago, it wasnt as easy as doing an SR swap but its worth it. I ran an SDS standalone because the harness i had was too shot to work with, and also back then aerodyne industries made alot of parts to make the 16v to 20v swap easier li...

Re: 4ac-4age swap question, GTS rear end necessary?
i mean, you can run a 4age on the sr5 8 bolt rear end, and i know even TRD made an LSD for the 8 bolt that is super rare. answer to your question is no you dont need a gts rear end. and also as far as bellhousing, for 4age, you can use an sr5 transmission, but you must atleast use the GTS bellhousin...

Re: car dying weird issue
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, sounds like a bad distributor.
you mentioned it turns on after cooling off, ive worked on cars with the similar issue once it got hot it shut off, then cooled and it started, they all had bad distributors.
