Re: GTS rear end swap...
Well I went by the pick n pull lot here in town and the celica supra did in fact have an IRS. And also the celica gt was gone. But the thing they did have that I have been searching for a while is an 04 corolla like my daily. I'm going by later today to actually walk around to see what I can find. T...

Re: GTS rear end swap...
I didn't say you we're wrong, BTW, I was just telling you what my corolla has. I never went by the pick n pull lot to see for sure what exactly it has. Some shit happened here at home so I had to take care of that before anything else. But hopefully I can check it out tomorrow for sure to see if the...

Re: GTS rear end swap...
Ok. My 85 GTS has a solid rear axle, not an independent rear suspension. Also, I have disc brakes all around, not drums.

Re: GTS rear end swap...
Yeah, it's a solid rear axle and I'm doing the whole rear end swap - hub to hub and pumpkin. The only thing is that I don't know if the rear end is good or bad, considering it is in a pick and pull salvage yard. But, honestly, I would rather spend money on a rear end that is easier to find parts for...

GTS rear end swap...
What all would I have to do exactly to swap my whole rear end assembly with an 85 Celica Supra?? I called the pick and pull lot here in town and they said the whole rear end assembly from hub to hub with the gears and everything but the arms and rods is 114.66 with tax. So, if I get it, what all do ...

Does anyone know what rear diff I could swap it out with or where I could get a better than OEM one?

WTB: GTS rear diff
I'm looking for a rear diff for an 85 GTS or the whole rear end without axles. My pinion bearings looked up so my pinion gear got pretty screwed up.

a couple of electrical questions....
My stop fuse keeps blowing for some odd reason. How do I check the brake light switch? Also, how do I wire up an electric cooling fan on my GTS to get rid of my flex blade fan?

Re: 4AGE swap
I have a few buddies that work for muffler shops here in town. I can get them to make me a custom exhaust and manifolds if I needs them to. Also, my cousin races at the local dirt track so he has almost everything possible to weld and cut, we just need the supplies. All I would need is someone to he...

4AGE swap
I was wondering if anyone has attempted to swap the 4AGE with a 1G-GTE 2.0L l6 twin turbo? It came out of the 1986-91 Soarer in Japan. I was thinking about it cuz it produces between 185-210 hp and its much smaller than the 1JZ 3.0. I have seen a few on ebay. Anyone think it can be done or has anyon...

Re: CORPUS CRISTI DRIFTING
Yeah it was pretty sweet. I was there that about halfway through the event since I had to work til 2. My buddy Josh was the guy that owns that dnyo, and his buddy is the guy thats on it in that pic of the dyno. He was doing one run for $40, 2 for $50, and 3 for $75. Or you could do 1 run and if you ...

Re: MAF Meter?Sensor help.....
That is a risk I am willing to take. But, then again, I won't get rid of the original air flow meter if everything doesn't work out. I'm willing to give it a try, and if it works, I would definitely share it if it works and gives a noticeable gain. If not, I would probably still share it.

Re: MAF Meter?Sensor help.....
I know it needs rewiring. I planned on get a maf sensor with the connector to swap over. I'm going to cut my connector off, rewire the new connector in, and install the new maf sensor. I just need to find a maf sensor that has the same diagram as my connector.
