Hello, I am looking for a good set (4) of 40MM rods for a 4AGE to get my MR2 back on the road :( (Currently has spun rod bearing). Anyone out there have any hanging around that they are willing to let go for cheap? Preferably from a running motor (at one time or another) that didn't have a spun bear...

It has crossed my mind but I definitively like keeping things stock or lightly modded. But I will dig up on the swap again.

Here are a couple of pics from my phone. Car was actually saved from a junk yard by the previous owner (I guess someone sold it to the junk yard because of the bad motor). As you can see, some of the oil pan parts are on the floor because me and a friend wanted to check the rod bearings and number 2...

Just found this forum through a couple of friends that are current members. They highly suggested this forum for 4AGE parts for my newly acquired 88 MR2 (unfortunately has a spun rod bearing), so I am here to check things out and hopefully get my 4AGE back on the road.
