Re: Itb's or carbs??? That is the question... I need help
The benefits of ITBs require quite a lot of testing and tuning. If that's available they can provide another method of tuning performance by changing the intake runner length. It really doesn't matter what else is done to the engine, ITBs can help, but usually there are other things which can help m...

fresh rebuilt smallport head Champaign, IL $400 or trade
Here's a smallport head off of a 4A-GZE. It came from a JDM imported drivetrain. The Japanese owner had painted the head black and red. Most of it came off when cleaned. The head was rebuilt by a shop in Bensenville, IL called Apex Auto Machine. They do work for a lot of high end shops, like AMS. He...

I'd rather not ship these, but I am willing to deliver or meet in the midwest. Re: How To: T50 Electronic Speed Sensor
I took a quick look at the speed sensor I have. At first glance it appears to be a larger diameter than the T50, but a similar length. I will be looking further into it in the near future.

Your application list looks like it includes some C-series trans applications, such as the mid 90s corollas, so we may be looking at the same VSS...

Re: How To: T50 Electronic Speed Sensor
I traded mine from a friend who works on Lotii and MR2s. We walked around the shop until we found a spare bellhousing with a VSS in it. Unfortunately, this means it could've come from almost anything. The good news is, that I'm aware of, All 2-digit C-series transes (so not C160s ) which have VSSs h...

Re: How To: T50 Electronic Speed Sensor
Ever looked at a FWD corolla VSS? I've got one from a C-series transmission, and it looks like it'd fit without modification.

Re: 20v Hi comp piston, suggestions
blacktop pistons in a silvertop are a great choice for NA applicarions.
Your desired CR will depend greatly on your tuning capabilities and cam selection. I would say 12:1 is not hard for modern EMSs to make work with mild camshafts.
Where are you finding BC cams for 20v engines?
