Re: GT86 an my AE86
So you only get the Scion, without all the great stuff like LSD, ... That's a shame. So you have to buy a BRZ to get the performance oriented version of the Neo86

Re: Rota's new Watanabe influenced wheel
Oh no, Rota copied the watanabe wheel. I'm gonna kill my self. But wait, watanabe copied that design themselves in the 70's from the UK. Superlite, minilite,... already had that design in 1962. What now?

Try to get some small port pistons. They really are the only ones that go well with your largeport head

Re: engine harness differences (zenki vs kouki)
Had a problem while wiring a hachi a few days ago. Problem was the big black plug against the firewall that connects the dash harness to the engine harness. On the dash side there was a missing wire (+12V) that feeds all the injectors with power. It was the wire in the very center of the plug. (D-8)...

Re: 7AGE
Til now my 7AGE runs and lasts great. but everybody is telling me that the rod bearings gonna fail. There are no real alternatives here in Europe for the 7AFE rod bearings. There are OEM ones and KING bearings. I got the KING rod bearings, they are standard stuff, 2 layer,... Are there any "good" 3 ...

Thanks for all the kind words.
No, my windows don't open up. Would be cool if they did, but never seen it on any 2door. The round(ish) thing you might see on the exterior of the window is the mounting base plate for the HERO Gopro cam.

Re: 7AGE
Awesome man... still curious as to what pistons you're using and rods as well. Stock 7AFE rods??? Technotoy/Belfab 7AFE conrods with ARP bolts Wiseco 81.5mm 11,5:1 Pistons (compression would have been way over 12:1 in the 7AGE, so I used a 1.6mm HKS headgasket to drop it a bit. I'm now around 11.5:...

Re: 7AGE
is the spike at 7800 a true reading? I would say no, guess it's more a thing of hitting the limiter and freaking the dyno or the operator or somethin. Limiter was set on fuet cut wich is quite rough. I now set the limiter to work via ignition. Way smoother the 20v didnt look like it was done at 800...

Thanks man. Sound resulted in power ;-) Tuesday was dyno mapping day. Alarm rang at 5:30 in the morning, started the TomTom and off we went. Destination KWL Motorsport in Leverkusen/Germany. The only good thing of leaving early are empty roads and gorgeous lighting! http://img847.imageshack.us/img84...
