Re: Alternative Ignition: COPs - batch fire
I do have one IGf signal from the coil. I does fire right up, but it cuts at about 5k revs. I also have another IGf signal from another cop to my sgi-8 to drive my tach. But the tach cuts at 3.5k revs. I am not successful at running the cops without the coil/igniter. I pm'ed a member in club4ag who ...

Re: Alternative Ignition: COPs - batch fire
you don't need a fifth coil to run this set up. Get rid of it and use the IGF off one of the coilpacks. I did, that was my original setup: No coil or igniter, just straight up COP's. It won't rev beyond ~5k and It won't drive the tach above 3.5k (w/ SGI-8). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CTT_oWH9G...

Hello 86garage!
Hello there. I'm Paul, balmo in club4ag. I have an 87 gts coupe. In currently almost done with its blacktop 20v swap. I found this forums via google when I was searching DLI COP for 20v. Btw, great thread on the 20v DLI, much more consolidated. http://dorihachigo.zenfolio.com/img/s2/v1/p828794318-3....
