Re: AE86 Upgrades
Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the empty engine bay. My bad, lol. Anyways, I have to finish welding in the brackets and what not before the floor gets put in and finalized. I may start spot welding the underside but I may save it for another revision down the road. <-----and the pic was pr0n, but ...

Re: AE86 Upgrades
Update: I need to flip my coupe over to weld some floor pans in and some other stuff too. But I couldn't find a rotiserrie for the price in my current budget, so I started to make these. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t231/slamdbusa/IMG_2168.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t231/slamdbusa/...

Re: AE86 Upgrades
Thanks. Well, I plan on using it to store my cars/projects/etc and to do side work for friends/family or the occasional build up. Nothing big right now. I don't do body work so no painting, well not the conventional process anyway. (not allowed, respect the neighbors you know). So, it's the shop I a...

Re: AE86 Upgrades
Well, I got some good news, I now have a shop, it's 30x35. It has power outlets, 120v and 240v. And It can hold all of my cars, woohoo!!! I also picked up an EVO VIII intercooler, some piping, and a few grommets. I am also about to order a mig welder that can do aluminum too. I'll post some pics soo...

Re: AE86 Upgrades
It's cool, It became a nightmare working there, my PTSD was pinging off the chart on a regular basis. I have moved the car to a 10x30 storage unit, and hoping to dissemble it an make a rotisserie to weld up the bottom, but IDK at this point.

Well, I am now able to have time to work on my project, since I no longer have that pain in the ass job anymore. Updates soon to follow.

Re: AE86 Upgrades
Sorry for the lack of updates, work owns me. Every time I want to work on it, I can't. It's rather frustrating when the biggest project you have is just within arms reach.
I just have been collecting odds and ends now, like various metal parts and body additions.

Re: AE86 Upgrades
It's been in a holding pattern as I do not have the time after work to get anything done on it.
The want is there, trust me on that.

Re: AE86 Upgrades
I got my 86 moved up to work so that I can work on it after hours, (as long as there is room to work and if the service adviser is willing to stay after too.) But anyways I ordered my CBY fender flare knock-offs, and picked up some more steel to make brackets and what not. I hope to have Phase 1 com...

Re: AE86 Upgrades
ATM, no. I have a full time job as a mechanic and it is eating up all my time right now. I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark, so no time for the SR86, :'( I have been looking into using the wire harness of the s13 to control the 'rolla's headlight motors, and not sure if the circuits ...
