Hello...I currently reside in Florida but lived in Texas from 1991 to 2004. Lived in Killeen (91-95), then Conroe (north of Houston) 95-04. I have been involved with Corollas (and one celica) for years but never an AE86 until summer 2002 when I got a GT-S out the back of a "we finance" dealership in Killeen, during one of my annual trainings with the Army Reserves.
I got it cheap with bad engine and body damage but by spring 2003 I got it running with complete rebuilt blue top and other needed repairs.
From 03 thru the time I moved to FL, there was only Club4AG and one small club that I knew about from Austin and one of the members you all know, Black Trueno AE86 (Emilio).
The first Houston Drift event by C4AG (spring 03) where I had the chance to meet Moto P & Emilio JR & SR, was the only time I had a chance to meet with some nice AE86's other than the guy who help me rebuilt mine and owned 2. After that I did try to start a Toyota car club in the north side of Houston but with no luck...then the move took place.
We (wife and I) miss Texas!
Now I found this forums thanks to Nexus who directed me here from c4ag...thanks.

Well...I just never noticed nor landed on any particular thread (that I could recall) with this information. But, I was looking for a TX site in google, and other forums until Nexus reply with this one.

I want hook up some of my old friends that still live in Houston and may want to plug in with a car club or group of old school toyota owners.
I know of 3 that (as far as I know) own ae86's and one starlet. 2 of them are brothers; one moved to LA, but comes back to Houston to visit with his brother from time to time. The older use to be a certified mechanic @ Fred Haas Toyota...but now is working for a drilling company in the Gulf of Mexico. The 3rd guy, I have no clue where he is but used to live near FM1960 on the north part of Houston...with a red AE86. But I may be able to find them...

ive been here for almost three years then i was in tomball before right off boudroux and 2920.
the new hang out up here is at cypresswood and 45 where the high school is in the sonic parking lot. friday nights past 11 is pact to the brim and all i smell is 116 octane! its actually the cons parking lot.

jonas do you know rivan? i just know him from corollacarclub.com ive been there for a couple years. never meet him in person before and he's owned so many bad ass corollas!!

I was wondering where to go post "members rides" pictures; I tought it was at the "MEdia" but saw how it was more car shows and event so I did not wanted to disrupt that.
I've been wanting to contact one of the moderator to find that out and also may be suggest a "Event Pictures" dedicated to after events...make it easier to see those pictures than going thru the original invitation or announcement and then finding the pictures...but hey, just a thought!!
