Hello 86garage

Post by gobutai »

Hello 86garage,

I'm new to the forum, and it was highly recommended by my good friend Jomon. Just like Jomon, I am from the RGV (Rio Grande Valley), and like everyone one else on this forum, I am a big fan of the "Hachi-roku." Sadly, I currently do not own a AE86, but I am in the market for one :D .

I currently drive a 1991 Supra Turbo with 335+ whp and a 1996 Acura Integra (I know I'm guilty a Honda  fanatic too, lol). Anyhow, one of the two cars (maybe both) will be in the market soon, so that I may purchase / possibly trade for a Corolla GTS / AE86.

Other than being a close friend of Jomon's, the following are my credentials: 100% Ebay, Paypal verified, honda-tech member, rgvpca member (I do a lot of HPDE's with these guys, and you all are welcome), rgv4cyl.net member, etc.

If any of you guys are ever down in the Valley, hit me up; I'm always up for a good chat with a fellow car enthusiast, just to hang out or wrench on someone's ride.

Allan

Hey thanks, Alan!

By the way 86garage, I am playing with the idea of trading the Supra or Integra for a AE86. If you all know anyone that has a nice 86 and looking for a trade, please send them my way. Thanks again 86garage...

thanks landslideATX... the 86 scene here in the valley is very slim, but Jomon and 85Levin are starting to change that.

thanks dr.occa! I have always tried to stay away from red cars since they really stick out, especially with the "guys in the blue," but for some reason, the "deals" I have been finding are all red cars, lol. Ironic ain't it...
