Why is it every time I come here it always shows new messages in every forum. Once I enter a forum of new messages, the next time I visit those should be cleared unless someone new has posted in it. Its always the same threads that I don't want to view that stay on "new". Is there somewhere to change this?

make sure there isn't a second page to it. i noticed if you don't go to the last page of the thread it will still show it new.

hmm, that's a curiosity there chris. what browser are you using: ie, firefox, safari, opera...?

Firefox, never had this issue before.

If a thread gets a new post in it, it will always show new if I dont look at it. Even if nobody posts in it ever again. I'll take a screen shot of what the forums look like when I go to em.

Example:


As you can see two days ago a post was made here. I havent looked at it so it still shows up as new. Normally this new status would go away once I had visited the boards and come back at a later time. You can see before the change over in November though that the other posts show up as old like they should.

ok, i just switched to mozilla firefox and its starting to do that now. with the old explorer it was fine. when i get on face book they say i am using an old version of explorer. i don't know much about computers but i hope this info helps you guys.

whats even more strange is that after i finished posting this, when it shoots you back, i hit board index and it shows them correct.

when you installed mozilla did you restart the browser after you first opened it
