Hey Hey....... Hey?

Post by o.g.darkdrifter »

Hello.I'm shawn. I'm 19. I'm in the Air Force. I've been into Corolla's (ae86) since 2003 or 2004... or both... cant remember. Even though I've been into drifting for a while I still havent gotten any real seat time at an event. My Corolla is down right now being turned into what I've always wanted but I plan on getting a kouki s14 soon. Hope to see all of you at an event soon, I drive a grey gts coupe with rewinds/supras.

Oh and by the way I'm a foreigner..... Californian to be exact. (I dont understand why the locals hate me????)

Oh no!! I'd never sell my Corolla. the only way is if it was totalled or it was completely out of my hands. I just want an s14 for a daily. It doesnt look like I'll be getting one though so I'll probably get a truck to tow my corolla to events. I know trailer queens arent cool but the Louisiana public streets destroys my car and with the susp components I plan on getting breaking parts wont be nice.

BTW some of you may know me from club4ag. I was originally darkdrifter (the infamous club4ag newb lol) but now I'm Shawn86. Rest assured I'm basically a completely different person since my noob days if you remember those days. Alot more experienced and much more willing to learn and experiment for my self. Seems like forever ago but that was only 4 years. lol

Well I recently moved to Barksdale AFB from California, and didnt know much about the southern/Texas scene. So I joined Houston240sx and someone there (not sure exactly who it was) invited me to a gymkhana event. Sadly though my car is messed up right now and requires maintenance plus body work so I'll be a while before I can come out.......

Why? Is this a strictly older Toyota chassis web site? Just curious. Like ziptied but for Toyota's only lol.

Yeah I notice the AE86 scene here is much smaller than back home. But thats a good thing though. Everyone keeps trying to convince me my car is FWD. I just smile and show them.
As long as there are other AE86 enthusiasts around here than me I'm ok. :D
