Hi,
I have just bought my 1st 4age powered car, it is a Westfield (Locost/super 7) style car. Very light weighing 560kgs.
I'm researching how to liven up the engine. It has a 3 rib blue top JDM with a T50.
I'm thinking of doing a low pressure Turbo set up on the standard compression motor. The motor itself is in very good condition. The car was built in 1991 but hardly used. It has only done 65K.
It seems that if pressure is kept below 9psi then all should be OK. The car is right hand drive and a SC14 blower will not clear steering bits and pieces. Supercharging was my 1st thought.
The car is road registered but is mainly intended to be a track day fun car.
Anyway, glad I found this forum, if anybody on here is in Perth with a 4age turbo modded for motorsport, be great to hear from you.
Cheers
