I can't remember when I first fell in love with the ae... I believe it was early teen years. Tokyo extreme racer zero. Well, one day while riding around the neighborhood aimlessly, I stumble across an unmolested 1984 Sr-5 hatch. For about 7 years or so I kept bugging the old lady it belonged to, to no avail. One day I went by and she was outside watering the lawn so I stopped to se if she had changed her mind. It just so happens I had 250$ cash in my pocket. What would you know she accepted it, clear blue title and all. One owner. Now time to tear it up. First move was egr delete, cat delete, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, re pack bearings, all fluids replaced with Lucas specialty fluids. Used dry ice to remove all sound deadener from floor. Gutted all interior trim... And that's where it is now. It needs a drivers door window and windshield. Next move is gonna be Megan coilovers, and wheels and tires. Probably goin staggered, with spacers, and 40mm fender flares. Most likely gonna go real 80s hotwheels/club neon color scheme... What do yall think. I'm definetly gonna get the full prothane bushing kit ASAP also. I'm not concerned about the motor yet, o want to fix all the suspension and brakes first since its gonna be a v8 junkyard build.
