Hi everyone, I found this website from club4ag and decided to join. I have a 1985 GTS coupe with a trashed 4ag engine. Im leaning toward a SR20det swap, but I'm open to any engine as long as the price is right. I am also looking for front end Levin conversion parts (headlights fenders hood, bumper and bumper brackets).

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome. Here's some pics of the GTS I am working on:

After searching for months, I finally found a clean unmolested GTS in Dallas and got a really good deal on it. Now I just need to find a place to work on it :/

The body appears to be in remarkably good condition. That front end looks mint. Why would you want to change it? Has the car been repainted? I only ask since there are no "GT-S" decals on either side. How does the interior look?

The guy I got it from didn't know a whole lot about the car, basically he blew the engine in it and just wanted to get rid of it. I'm not sure if it was repainted or the stickers were just taken off. Did Toyota offer a silver like that new? I was wanting to make a street/track beast, but this car is so nice I may just get some bigger wheels with a nice negative offset, redo the interior and dash, and just rebuild the engine. I just don't think cutting on a car this original is the way to go. I was also thinking of turboing the stock engine for a bit more power, but that will probably be a little later down the road.

Looks like either the previous owner or the previous, previous owner had it painted. That's not a color that the zenki 86 GTS came in.

Odd. My brother's GT-S '86 hatch when he got it new came in that very color.

Looks like I stand corrected. The evidence is right there. I referenced my factory color cheat sheet and they only came in 85. Sorry for the misinformation y'all.
