Hey I'm not really new to the 86 community as a whole but new to this site. I own a 1986 hatch back SR5 and am in the slow process of doing a 1UZ swap in it. Its not gonna be a dedicated drifter or track car but if I want it to it will LOL. I bought her back in April of last year and since have done some decent mods like Megan coilovers, JDM bumpers and a few smaller things. I appreciate any feedback or opinions about her as long as its not completely negative lol. Here's a pic of her with my other two cars

you made it lol! Welcome to the Garage. I'm also in the middle of a 1uz swap as I said earlier. My build thread is in the Tech section under Non-Native Tech. I would strongly suggest checking out Xcessive Manufacturing's mount kit. You will need 1.75-2" subframe spacers unless you mod the hell out of the tunnel and hood.

Thanks guys. Yeah McKenney those mounts look pretty good but I'm in the process of making my own since I have access to a sheet metal laser and welders etc.
