im still waiting to find a set of 04' sti bbs wheels, im not much for aftermarkets on these, and as far as the tranny i still have yet to break it after four years. I learned my lesson with my tsi awd talon. It just depends how you drive the car, it at this moment is around the 300hp mark with 90,000 miles and still shifts smooth, if you dont launch it and allow time between shifts it will last forever at my current configuration

or if i could afford these 18" i would be decently happy

my buddy might have had slightly more power it was around 280whp and similiar in torque. he never clutch dumped or even launched hard. his last tranny sheered all the teeth off of second gear. from what ive read on the 02-03 wrx the 5 speed is only good to 200whp. my little brother might jump in here since he was mored involved in the car and i was never around on the first two tranny's so i dont know how they went.however that car was built to hold 500whp but he slid the car into a curb and took out his wheels and a few other things before he bought the turbo for it.its back on the road finally but the owner kind of fell off.

ive had this power for around four years.. not worried about it, stock clutch as well, its around as speculated by cobb at 349 crank horsepower at 20 psi, so it should be around 280 - 290 whp

I miss my '02 now. Bugeyes FTW. You have the fmic or the top mount right now? I recommend getting IC hoses too btw (if you have top mount). The stock plastic ones BLOW! I had the samco on mine. Not an easy install, but worth it IMO.

Which exhaust is that? I started with the Nur Spec, LOUD but sounded great. Then moved to the Borla hush, much quieter but same tone and appears stock!
