Its a 2001 so it has a 5.7 vortec motor with a 4l80e trans and a heavy duty rear end. I really wanted a newer generation van with the 5.3 but the price for them is still really high. I plan on buying the king crab to mpfi conversion and once that's done these things are supposed to be pretty bullet proof

not sure what you are asking.... it is a kit that converts the "king crab" injection to multi point injection by moving the injectors from the upper intake manifold to directly on the cylinder head

Yeah its called that just because of how it looks I think its technical name is cpfi-central point fuel injection but I'm not really sure. just always called it king crab and talked about how much it sucks ....

Will, that thing is quite the coolness. I've been on and off looking for a similar tow model but with the extended cab with 3 rows of seats for the family or a slew of miscreants.

Yeah it is the long wheelbase I looked at a few with seats in them but decided a cargo base would be eaiser to make the way I want ... Planing on building a work bench and and a whole bunch of other stuff in there

so since i got this thing it had been running pretty rough and was always difficult to start. I put a fuel pressure gauge on it and sure enough it was at 45 psi and chevy says anything less than 55 psi at idle and it needs a new fuel pump. I really didnt wnat to drop the tank because it is huge and side mounted so i decided to cut a hole in the floor.
running ten times better now .....
