have some black valve covers have a few white flakes b/c i tried to remove this white that was prev. spray painted on there

Are these BT covers or just covers painted black? Also title says 30, post states 40. Which is it?

sorry meant to put $40 obo
and they're painted black and i guess someone tried to paint white over them so i tried to remove it, they don't look too bad i'll take some pics tomorrow
