it finally happened. this morning i jump into my 86 to head to work and my engine RPM will not drop lower than 3000rpm. i pull over tug on the throttle leaver under the hood and the rpms drop to idle speed. as soon as i push the gas pedal to get back on my way the rpms are back up to 3000.
does any one have a good throttle cable with lots of life left? My car is a kouki if that matters. i dont want to change this out again for a while. thanks let me know what you have.
WTB: non cruise throttle cable
Re: WTB: non cruise throttle cable
You are better off just lubing up the cable you have unless it has worn through the sleeve, or the cable is kinked.

Or you can get the parts new.
