16 valve gts motor running!

I am needing a stock gts motor or one that has been rebuilt.... but the motor has to be runnin in a car i cant trust anyone selling a rebuilt motor unless it has been running in a car. I trusted the guys with a fresh motor in a sr5 shell bought the whole shell for 1k and then found out the motor had a rod knock.... NO GOOD FOR ME.

any information on a gts motor running would be great. thanks for looking.

does it matter if it comes out of a mr2?

I bought NST mike's old mr2, it has a jdm 4age.. unsure the specifics, but it runs (drove it home and around).. you're more than welcome to come by and test it if you want before I pull it out soon..

i dont think that it matters but if its a jdm motor i believe i need the ecu.

Im not sure of that but just to throw it out there.
