I have an 83 housing and axles... it's the 55" wide one. the axles in it are 6 lug but Strange and Mosier make axles in any lug and hub center configuration for them for like $150 each...

Hmmm...may have to take you up on that. I was weary about the different 3rd members fitting, but while doing some more research it looks like all 8" Toyota diffs have the same bolt patter. I'll shoot you a text you later.

Im confused. I thought ya got one from jonas.

I got an empty SR5 housing from Jonas to swap the mounts/brackets onto the 8" housing I have. But, I really just need to get this car movable and a complete SR5 rear end that someone has since swapped would be helpful

I have an sr5 rear end with drum brakes sitting in my shed. One is seized though. Neither drum wants to come off easily. lmk
