So where is everyone getting their motors for swaps at in Texas? Is there a decent place anywhere in DFW by chance to pickup a blacktop? Or is everyone just having to ship everything?

Thanks,
Chris

pretty cool.

they've got a blacktop w/ harness, ecu and 6 speed fwd trans! you can turn that trans around for probably $200+ for anyone looking to drop it in their AW11, AE82 (hachi-ni) or AE92 (kyu-ni).

don't know of ANY usdm 4age's w/ a factory 6spd unless they got it FOB.

jdmenginescorp seems to have a decent selection of engines for toyotas and nissans.

lol, I know 4 other people who got bad motors from them... From what I've heard, they get all their stuff from junk yards in china, not japan... I dont think they even check the engines when they're picking them out...

Is it just me or is the BT they have $2k seem a little steep?

http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/engine_de ... ngine-swap

This confuses me, it says engine only, but comes with a 6 spd tranny?

2000 with free shipping isnt bad but only if it has everything like tranny wiring and ecu. altho iv seen them go for 1200 with about 300 shipping

im sure they do wreck cars (especially for the amount of people that are there) but as i understand or what my friend was told is that they are not stored as parts cars and sold as parts. i think they where crushed and used as recycled metal. or at least where my friend was located
