Ok so lookin for a good 4ac short block my crank is trashed so just want my project runnig already cash in hand locatef near dfw

Can't you run a crank from a older mr2 and if correct be it twin cam or not the lower half of the engine is the same but the 1.8 fits as well any one reading this care to put there 2 cents in

I think the cranks are the same but the sohc motor has 6 flywheel bolts an the dohc motor has 8

Ah yes 8 bolts but what problem could that make for a person if they bolt it to a 4ac block for the few who still run this engine like me

Dont have the money to buy a new flywheel plus my rolla is an automatic

I have one sitting in my car right now that I'm planning on pulling in a week or two. I can push to get it out by this weekend if you get back with me. I need to keep the distributor but the rest of the long block will be available. $50 sounds reasonable, about scrap price.

I haven't inspected the crank but I had it running about six months ago, didn't make any weird noises but smoked like crazy.

I could throw the auto transmission in as well if you want it.

I still need a 4ac engine running or even if need a minor rebuild no machine work required needed before this weekend gonna rebuild with new rings and bearing an oil pump somebody has to have one from a swap or somthing been waiting on a lead for allmost 2 weeks an just need a engine asap
