yeah, the rear pads somewhat differ one from another. what year is your 86 and more importantly the rear end? sometimes you may have a zenki chassis and the previous owner may have put in a kouki rear end.

one set is larger than the other. do you keep ending up with too large of a pad or the pad ears are wrong?

well i have an 86 sr5 body with gts swapped everything but im not sure if the rear end is kouki or zenki but when i went and tried to get pads before the didn't even show me pads they showed me something else that didn't even look like pads then other places have weird pads would you have pics or part numbers to the different rear pads?

yea that's what i was assuming but they're deff. not drums lol

i want to assume it's kouki but i would have to ask the previous owner im not too sure

but the kouki's and zenki's (pads) practically look the same right? i guess if anything i need to just take off the wheel tomorrow and get a better look at it

nah, i wasn't referring to the SR5 rear end (drums).

your best bet IS to take the pad with you. they do actually differ in size, believe me.

the GTS sometimes came with different rear calipers.
