Megasquirt DIYPNP 56k stay away!
Re: Megasquirt DIYPNP 56k stay away!
so, what else do i need besides the diy kit?
Re: Megasquirt DIYPNP 56k stay away!
the non pnp kits use a harness that is hardwired to the factory harness or used in conjuction with the relay box and harness depending on which way you want to go.

What motor are you running? If its a 4age you want the 42pin diypnp kit. I would also suggest doing the AFM bypass and getting the GM IAT. It gets a huge bottleneck out of your intake system.

Re: Megasquirt DIYPNP 56k stay away!
Thats a good question. Ive had several people ask me to do it. My main thing is knowing your setup and what needs to be hooked up etc wiring wise. Then I can flash the base map to it and send it back. Wouldnt be alot seeing as I already have all the equipment. Its just more of a time type of thing.

black top with 1nz coils. would rather run ignition coils sequential rather than waste spark. want to remove idle air control valve and o2 sensor. add a wb o2 innovate lc-1 db. other than than run stock equipment without using another trigger wheel.
thanks
thanks

Re: Megasquirt DIYPNP 56k stay away!
just ordered. also ordered db9 tuning cable. i should be ordering the lc-1 innovate wb o2 next week off ebay.
Re: Megasquirt DIYPNP 56k stay away!
the lc1's really arnt much more expensive strait from the manufacturer. maybe 5 or 10 bucks. its worth not dealing ebay.
