SO HOW MUCH DID THEY TAKE OUT OF THE CASING? i', gonna do this but run 9/8kg

Well I guess it depend. What thickness of spacer (at the bottom) you got or getting?

Yes, T3 used to sell that kind of spacer in any size. However, I don't see it on their website anymore.

if you go on club 4ag there is a very detailed artical in the tech reference area i think it sass how much to take out and everything

i didn't use a spacer at the bottom of mine.

inserted the shock cartridge i intended on using into the casing. took a dowel and put it in until it touched the top of the cartridge. marked the top of the casing on the dowel. i then added a millimeter or 2 to that.

then, i cut the length i marked on the dowel (+ the 1-2 mm i added to it) out of the casing starting an inch below where the threading for the gland nut ends and downward...etc...etc...
