If I can drift my open diff sr5, you can drift.

Things I did notice with an open diff
-keep revs high
-keep speed up, use momentum
-clutch kicking is your friend
-ebrake is clutch kicking's bff
-left turns will be easier than rights with the one wheel peel
-if it rains DRIVE!
I like cars, food, and puppies.

That kind of the point, you dont need big power to drift. Where theres a will, theres a way, and a few blown motors along that way too..... >___<

Well, here's my 2 cents to keep you focused yashiro:

Get a cone or an ice cooler or a bowling ball or a pair of nasty sneakers or your brother or a trash can...whatever and put it in the middle of an empty lot.

Now, make a small donut around it. As you're doing that reverse the direction of the donut in midstream. Then go back the same direction (again in midstream) but make it a little bigger of a donut. Again, reverse the direction without stalling or bringing the car to a dead stop. Go back in the original direction and again this time making the donut bigger (all of this while keeping the cone or what have you in the middle of it all). Keep doing this until the donut is huge and you can't see the nasty pair of sneakers any more OR you run out of pavement

OR

a cop stops you.

This should give you a feel for lateral motion and how to manipulate the throttle and steering wheel.

You should be equipped now to go play a little with the big boys once you've mastered this.

Awesome advice Dr.Occa! I WILL TRY THIS!!! but without a human as my cone lol I have a cooler in the garage that would be perfect! Also I think we've meet before...Jonas right? I think you were the one giving away stuff at the 86PZ meeting where I met pecx, I got a free option dvd that day! But it was forever ago I think in 07 or 08? Pretty sure I have pics of that day gonna try to find them

Good seat time is this March 17th at Gulf Greyhound Park. Plenty of room and nothing to worry about from the "po-po" (<-man that's ghetto).
