now the new one came with a longer stick peice on it. the little rod that goes in the rubber boot. i used the old one cause the new one seemed to long. maybe i should try putting it on. couldn't hurt huh?ga_goosh wrote:i wonder if it was the right master. that could cause it to do that

well its a longer rod, and it has a a nut and another nut looking thing that come together to lock to make it stay in place. its almost twice as long as the old one.ga_goosh wrote:yea that can be it. if that isnt it then maybe it can be adjusted like a brake master cylinder

got it!!! the rod for the slave was off point by like 2mm. put it in the knotch cut out and it works now. thanks again for all the help from everyone.
