I will be making knobs again... just not the "screwy" one. I'll get some made probably in a month. I'm trying to get the first batch of caliper brackets made and distributed to my test subjects so that is taking up most of my extra shop time.

I'll start a thread for those when I get a finished set in my hands but to keep everyone updated... today I wrote most of the first program for the caliper brackets. No... I'm not using MasterCam or any other brand of code generator. The first program is cutting out the profile, drilling the 7 holes and tapping the 2 that the calipers attach to. It knocks out the majority of the mill work. I will need to write 4 small programs after this; 2 for the left bracket and 2 for the right. I'm shootong to have these done by the end of the year. We'll see

All I would really need to do for an allen inlay is modify a large allen bolt. I made a friend of mine some door lock pulls out of allen bolts for his 84 Chevy Pickup. Really simple.

Don't mean to gravedig, but Aaron, are you still making these? I'd pay handsomely for a wood screw one to go with my Snap-on screwdriver shift knob.
