and this is true you can get decent power out of the 4ag, you could even go gze but it's his choice and i believe it's easier to make the 12a faster and cheaper than compared to throwing a ton of $$ into a 4ag to barely get to 150 to the wheels (although i love my 4ag :D )

not really. h-beam rods 400 bucks. forged wisecos 500bucks + 200 in block work.

+ big ass turbo!!!

heres a 500hp 7age. stock crank just forged rods and pistons. stock blacktop head.

thing looks sick but yea from reading a lot here n there it always seems the corolla guys have to spend more $$ to get power compared to other ppl usually ppl with pretty quick/reliable corollas had to empty their wallets not to say the 4ag couldn't be fast it usually takes a pretty penny to get there

i got 2500 in my turbo build and it should make 400+whp.

thats what an sr swap or rotard swap will cost. then you have to get it to 400whp so its more expensive to go the other route

haha well the 20b is just overkill in the corolla imo i mean it's helllllla sick and fast but that's just a little bit too much speed it would be pointless unless you race or take it to the drag often as far as it being a daily driver or just a car to mess around in it's a little excessive and then you have to worry about maintanence especially on a 20b but it sounds really nice as well though i guess it all depends what the driver wants out of it

I agree it is a over kill but it is crazy. And crazy meaning bad ass!!!! If I were to do a 20B in the AE its like putting a SR20 in a shifter cart. LOL  But I have most of the parts and ready to commence in building. Pics will be along shortly.
