speeding ticket help

Post by Nasser »

ok so i got a speeding ticket in sugar land went to court today and they made it clear that no1 was allowed to take deffered adjudication. they were trying to stick every1 with their tickets to make the max amount of money off of every1 possible. 1 lady was able to take it but she got stuck with the maximum fine of like 300 bux and defensive driving on top of that and community service on 108 days probation. i spoke to the 400 pound prosecutor and she had her voice louder than the judge no joke so every1 in the court house could here what you did. well i didn't want to get stuck with this speeding ticket so i pled not guilty and to take trial by jury. does any1 have any advice on what i could do to lower the speed or get out of this ticket or should i just let the lawyer take care of it.

Next time
1.just take defensive driving course. It's about $40 for the course $100 court fee. If you really lazy you can buy a certificate for about $80.
2. Let the lawyer handle the ticket I think it's about $80 and let him do magic work

i agree! let the lawyer do the talking.
he'll either get it dismissed or work out some kind of deal to lower the ticket fine

defensive driving can only be used for one moving violation so i hope they aren't all moving ones.

the 3rd wont matter because it was when the guy hit me from the door while talking on the phone when i was already half way into the drive way. and since it was my first accident i didn't know what to say but he wont show up for sure because he was driving a company car and the company is located in corpus Christie so he wont bother showing up. the recent one with the cressida i will take defensive driving but for this speeding ticket i am trying to get it taken care of hopefully so it just stays off my record.

the lawyer will try to get it dismissed or at least try to keep it off your driving record, but will still pay a small fine
