I got off of the phone with an accounting rep from Toyota's North American Corporate Head Quarters and these are the numbers that he gave me regarding Corolla sales:
Corolla (in general) Sales
1983 - 143,000
1984 - 157,000
1985 - 168,000
1986 - 152,000
1987 - 119,000
I believe that's in US Sales alone. World wide he couldn't get that for me in a timely fashion. I asked him if it was possible to get a break down of the numbers per year and by chassis/model and he said that wasn't possible from where he could tell as old as the data is.

that's alot of Corolla's
739,000 to be exact from those numbers
