18RG huh.
The guy is wrong about the carbs: they're Solex/Mikunis.
Anyway, the 4AGE has far more readily available parts here state side since the 18RG never saw the light of day state side. Rob's 4AGE swap is far more affordable and a better deal because of everything you get i.e. engine, trans, ecu, harness and easily obtainable replacement parts.
I'm not saying this just to help Rob get his sold but I'm trying to be as objective as possible.
The 18RG would be for a project that you're not in a hurry to get into and won't discourage you should it quit soon after the swap.

Yea I would agree with dr occa since your like me and ballin on a budget. There's more parts and info on the 4age that is readily available that a swap would be less of a headache.

not to mention, most people on here have spare parts for 4AGE, 18RG is HARD to get parts in the states for. But, I'm with Occa on this, we(86garage) have(combined) all the knowledge needed to answer your ?s and help with any problems you may run into including parts you WILL find you need last minute. So, buy Rob's setup and beat the hell out of it. you'll enjoy it!
(you're welcome Rob, shameless plug over)
