this is my question... anyone have any idea wtf this is?! I was told it was a w58.... no clue on what year what it came out of no info what-so-ever. picked it up cheap but can't figured out which flange I need for the driveshaft. There's no tag or markings on it at all. 21 spline

I've heard w50, w55, w56, or it could be a w58. Kinda scratching my ass on this one. I've google searched and just find the main same old information about gear ratios. I'm not entirely sure how to "check" for the gear ratios on a trans. Anyways here's the pics.

comparing photos of yours and others I've found looks like an early Supra or truck W58. Did you ever call the driveshaft place I told you to call????

Not yet because I left the paper with the name at work lol
