Post by ChadDavis »

I recently dropped my AE71 off for wiring for the 4age and stock cluster, I am super excited its been tooooo long since that car hasn't been running, Will Parsons of course will be doing the work, I will keep everyone here updated when she is completed!

Thanks NST! :action14:

Sweet, how much are they charging if you don't mind me asking and also do they do more than wiring and sales of the products they make?

75 an hour annnddd mostly on corollas because will parsons knows that stuff quite well and i'm sure, just ask even though Mike may not speak of it other than personally talking to him. Also depending on shop arrangements and when they leave for xdc/FD. He got my car in last minute thank goodness!

just run the 7a bottom end with the 16v 4a head. you will need a Porsche timing belt if i remember correctly. 1.8L 7age! :P

they came in 93-97 corolla's and geo prisms. they where also found it some celica roughly the same years. the waterpump extension hose need to be extended also from recollection. other than that the computor runs it just fine. as far as drivabilty is concurned its slightly more torque but the power band is lower and dives off a little sooner due to some issue with not getting the cam timing dead on with stock cam gears so to raise it back up you need adjustible cam gears.

Sounds beautiful, so your saying it naturally has a cam timing issue? or when its combined with the 4age head?

Yea its from the deck being raised like an inch to clear the crank. Thats also why you need the timing belt.
