yea i know all of that,. Im not buying a new head because of the broken bolt i bought the new head because i want a small port head and the head i have has several issues that i dont want to deal with right now so what better time then when the head is off. i am still going to extract the bolt. this is for a second motor so i have time to get the bolt out. i will go to a machine shop if i feel that i cant get it out. hilicoil? i would rather try to fix the threads that are there. infact i havent messed up any threads yet. as for new bolts that is exactly why this topic was started because i want to replace the bolts with at least new oem replacements and dealerships arnt big on stocking bolts. as for burrs in the threads i have a set of chaser taps just for that reason.
