Alright, so Rock is taking care of me on my motor failure from their oil pump going south. Sending me new pump, bearings, rings, paying for my pistons, cams, and a complete gasket set. They're also reimbursing me the $200 on parts I spent in the first place. And the snap ring that holds the spring in the oil pump is what broke, dropped the spring in the pan and oil pressure went to 0... But they are taking good care of me overall. Since I did the labor, no refund there. The reason they're refunding the original purchase price is due to the head being trash now from shavings going thru the cam journals.

No, DNJ Rock products. BAP is a vendor of theirs and they're taking great care of me. Even bought me new cams! Stock ones but nonetheless, new!

Picking up rods from Mark and waiting for c4ptiv3 to get back to me on a set he has too. I'm getting both sets either way... Gotta get the crank turned then source bearings. Then the build begins!!!!!!

The oil looked like anti seize there was so much metal in it. The head has groves from the cams and metal shavings going thru the journals...

Honestly, I couldn't assume the compression without first comparative info on those pistons along side 4AGE pistons coupled with any head milling and head gasket thickness, etc...

The blocks are the same but combustion chambers are a bit different. It's possible it could have have been more. I can't say without comparative measurements you know that McK.

That's my rough guestimate based on head design... I could be wrong though. Either way it ran hard!

Got all the parts finally! Now to send block, crank, and head to the machine shop for some cleanup.
