have you tried jump starting the car?

have you tried jump starting as well?

could be a bad ignition switch.

Bad ground to the engine?
bad connection to the starter?
Bad connection to the starter solenoid?
Bad starter solenoid due to over cranking and burnt?

it's similar to the relay starter mod to fix a similar issue on the 3TC corollas. it may do the trick. it did on my 78 wagon.

If it's the starter sticking, sometimes a good whack with a hammer will fix it.
