Carbs...?m

What is a good size carb from weber? 40 or 44 IDF DCOE? and what does it all mean?

40s are recommended for stock motors. 44+ are for motors with large cams, port work and other head modifications where power is increased in the higher rpm range. With larger dia. carbs low mid torq loss is expected for 5000+ trq and pwr gains.

I'd go bike carbs before webers but thats just me. :wink:

^Bike carbs are more readily available and so are jets.

+1 for bike carbs check out the just for mexican stand off build. i just bumped it. ran that motor for a few events, did alright till the motor went. i beleve its a old "kai carb setup" jdm to the MAX. sounded narly to
