lately i've noticed when i'm on the highway my check engine light comes on for about 20-30 seconds maybe a minute at most and then it goes away. Every time it comes on nothing happens to the car, it drives completely perfect. What could be causing this??

You have to jump out at 60mph and check the engine like it is asking.







What about temp? Im not sure if high temp will trigger a CEL.

sadly im not superman haha

but temps seem to be fine it's not over heating or anything like that

My old F150 did this a few times. Turned out to be a bad ground.

Mine did it because the egr stuck open

i haven't found anything out of the ordinary YET i'll check grounds again though

Did you get the second piece of the header made and put on? If not,that's it right there. Mine did it when I had the a crack just after where the second piece header bolts up to the cat.

Jump to comectors and count the blinks the check light comes on I cant remember what year harness you got tell me Nd ill tell you the pins on the cinector to jump and if the light is of you still can get a code for instant my light off jump the connector it I have 7 blinks thats tps out of range lol... Actually call me ill give you a hand lol

mine did that constantly found it was the alternator plug kept popping out and i ended up zipting it in place as temp fix but i plan and putting a small bead of silicone on the connector and pushing it back in so it stays there
