using stock now, who makes a quality header out there? properly made with equal length pipes etc.

found this for sale, "looks" OK, but dont wana end up buying something that will decrease my engine's performance. this is a no brand system.

i always tell people to consider buying (if you can find one) a used, authentic TRD header before spending money on a no-name header. Unless this header is 1/4 the cost of a used TRD header an youre just super low on funds, i'd advise you to just wait for one to pop up for sale somewhere.

TRD headers are becoming increasingly difficult to find. I thought OBX made a version that was very similar to the TRD and the build quality was acceptable.

i believe they do, but i think they're still around $300-400 new aren't they? Again, for that much, IF you can find one, then i'd definitely pick up a used TRD.

I can't really say much, because i have a RWD 20v OBX header on my car...though no one else really makes anything for the RWD 20v swap. As far as build quality is concerned...i've had no problems with mine.
