hey guys, not sure how i got to thinking about it, but i have a red top high comp on my engine stand im going to tear down and have some work done to the head. i was going to fully disassemble the head and send it to OST for some of his magic motor head work. when i put it back together i was going to make sure everything was to spec and i got to thinking about the shim specs.
do i just go off the 3rib blue top shim specs in the FSM or do i need to look up the shim specs for the ae92?
ive tried a couple searches but all i got was a few dead ends and a couple threads on blue top shims as the topic.
do let me know, thanks in advance guys!

ok, so ive been up for like 28 hours (thanks military!), and after thinking about it and re-reading what i wrote i may have totally over thought that. im pretty sure i would just check the clearances the same as i would with the blue top. but i just want to make sure. i need to go to bed. like asap.

Exactly.
You can clay the motor to make sure... always a good idea to do that after the head has been messed with on high compression motors.
