4ac makes me want to set myself on fire. all 4 of its intake ports are smaller than two of the ports on the tvis plate and it has 8

would the second gasket on the large port fit on mine i want to take out my tvis completely since i already have it disabled and i wanted to remove and port the tvis because i have seen write ups where people do that like how this dude did http://www.gtfours.co.uk/default.htm?ht ... s/tvis.htm go to-how to-modify-remove and port tvis

that website is not talking about 4ags and your car wont benifit from removing the tvis it will only LOSE power on the low end But it wont gain any on top. If your still going to do it anyway you HAVE to use the top gasket for the blue top in the picture the bottom one wont seal the intake directly to the head. Also you have to get gze intake manifold bolts becasue the blue top ones are to long with no tvis. Also I would strongly recomend not trying to port anything it is very easy to screw stuff up with bad port work

why not fix it so it works correctly?? gain that 10 to 15 hp back on the low end??? The way it works is super simple shouldent be hard to make it work

their was a dyno sheet that showed a 2hp gain floating around somewhere either way allot of people run without it and stock 4age's have made over 100hp without it on so idc much for it i noticed more of a difference with it off.

lol your not going to feel a 2hp gain on top what you dont understand is your losing power from 1000rpms to 4500rpms thats the 10 to 15 im talking about. Im making over 160hp and im still running it it adds power at lower rpms when vacume is high. It opens as soon as the vacume gets low (above 4500 rpms) it adds a very small amount of restriction for the gains down low. The reason toyota put it on there is because the blue top ports are to big and flow to much air at lower rpms which reduces power. This is why the later small port engines have smaller intake ports so they dont need tvis and dont lose low end power
