Just wanted to know to clear up my mind. Currently in the market for a clutch for my 20v Black top. I know the stock Blue top flywheel is 200mm but the Red top is 212mm right? I have a 212mm flywheel that I would like to use on my Black top that has 8 bolts. I am looking at the SPEC Stage 3 clutch right now. Just to know for sure I should be alright for this application.

i think you can run a 200mm also as long as you run the flywheel and everything

blue/redtop are 200

silver/blacktop are 212mm

200mm and 212mm is referring to the clutch mating surface. you can run either on the 4AG motors. you'll just want to make sure you have the appropriate clutch plate to take advantage of the slightly larger diameter clutching surface if you go 212mm.

actual fly wheel outer diameter should be the same.

keep in mind the starters are nearly pretty much the same across the board for the 4AG motors.

ok.... i'll probably order a 200mm clutch and use my stock flywheel from the 16v for the 20v

this will work correct?

or should i buy a 212mm spec and run stock 20v flywheel?

bryce, is that the stage 2 or stage 2+? a spec clutch is next on my list of needful things; for both the 86 and te38 wagon.
