How to propose to "build" one? Are you planning to pour concrete or lay asphalt? If so, that is an EXPENSIVE proposition. I have to think that the Abilene area has commercial real estate with large concrete pads already in place, or even old, abandoned airstrips nearby.

yea with whatever surface we can get
a friend of mines grandpa has alot of land and we are tryin to convince him to let us use it cuz theres nuthin there

he has all the equipment (tractors) to create the track, its far away from everything so it wouldnt bother anyone

we are tryin everywhere out here, weve called places here where they use for auto events and they told us no cuz they dont want tire marks on their ground.......
abilene just blows lol

one of the biggest complaints you will get is the tire marks left behind from drifting. For the longest time it was big reason why there has been no drifting events held at the Texas Motor Speedway till just this year. Granted the fact that a big name like Chris Forsberg was a big help in that negation. Just got to keep trying man, there will always be someone who will have a heart for a couple of young gearheads.
