New Venue?

There might be a new Venue popping up here soon
Its at an airport here locally like Mineral Wells
Its Gonna be dirt cheap!!
Meetin up with the guy tomorrow at 430 to talk the details
Will update some more as soon as i know more!

should be pretty epic!
they are gonna let us use the hangars for the cars that are drifting, to change tires and what not

srry guys forgot all about this lol
The guy we talked to was like 85 years old
he thought we were doin a car show for some reason....
so this place is a no go, but!! we found another place that is interested and has a good chance
doing these events with us
and yes entry fees will be pretty cheap

The owner of Canaan Raceway has talked about hosting drift events here in Lubbock. We still haven't heard word, but I know there would be interest here since many cannot afford to make the trip to Mineral Wells which is 4 hours from here. Big Spring seems like it would be pretty simple as they do LOTS of SCCA events there.

ill have to look into it
we are tryin to find a good spot to hold events at for some of the more local guys so they dont have to drive 4+ hours
and of course everyone else is more than welcome to join

There are a number of people in Lubbock who are looking for a place to track or drift their cars. However, the only logical venue, the Reese Technology Center (formerly Reese AFB), is owned by the city and they don't want any events out there...period.
