Driver sign-in and tech is from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Tech includes; Helmet (DOT Motorcycle), Seat belts, NO excessive fluid leaks, NO loose items in or on car, Battery MUST be tied down, No Corded tires.
NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS ALLOWED ON SITE
Classes:F (stock FWD),MF (Modified FWD),R (stock RWD),MR (Modified RWD),A (stock AWD),MA (Modified AWD).
:Stock Class is allowd (air filter,cat-back ex.,brake pads,adjustable struts (not coilovers),lowering springs,200 tread wear tire)
:Modified Class is open mods
OK Morning session Tech and Reg. stops at 9:30 AM. 1st car on course at 10:00 AM. If you do not make it then you will have to wait for the afternoon session and fun runs. So when you get there get your car ready for tech ASAP, because if it is not been tech and ready to run by 9:30 then you have to wait. This means tires changes need to be done by 9:30.
Loaner helmets are available.
This is the Finial event of the season. So it will be ran a bit different than the usual events. You will line up against another car in your class and run mirror courses no timer you must beat the other person. Also being this our last event the top points leaders in each class will receive their trophies and the all important cash winnings. So if you are one of the top 3 in your class you should be their to receive your stuff if unable to make it we need to arrange a way to give you your winnings.
For all drivers attending if you would like to bring some food we will be having a grill out there for lunch which will be extended. to and hour and a half to possibly two hours.
If you haven't made it out to a Gymkhana event then this is the one you need to make it to. I will be posting the track map up in the next day or to.
Start the drivers list. also add if you would like to have food grilled out there.
I'm making plans to compete. I'd like for any of the 86garage community to come join in on the event. It would be a treat to see a goodly number of 86s there.

Just got back. Vene was dealing with water pump issues (bad H2O pump basically) so he should be home soon unless he has to make one more stop to refill w/ coolant.
Vene and I had a good time. Wish there were more of us. Jeff (Gymkhana host) was kind enough to grill up some hamburger patties and doll out bags of chips. He handed out cash prizes for the 2010 season as well as trophies.
The side-by-side mirror courses were fun and visually appealing. You got to see some of the pairs make for the finish neck and neck at times.
Met a guy by the name of Jason with a white 4 door civic with a B18 swap. He's been out there consistently by the sounds of it but he ended up having engine problems due to an over-revving issue on his 3rd (out of 10 total) run. Sounded like knock but we're hoping for the best. His cousin Dustin in a black CRX Si was clocking some really fast times.
This guy Chad was also out there in a black CRX Si. He was actually at the last GGP event he told me and nabbed some video footage of the event. I was in it...waiting in line!!!
Vene looked to be getting comfortable with each run.
I was introduced to a couple of other guys: Daniel and Tim. Tim informed me that he actually goes out with NST and the cars to the Pro-Am events as another tech. It's a small world even heading out to the "sticks"
. Daniel and I chatted a bit about an LS400 he's been eyeing and a 1/2JZ itch he's got.
All-in-all, it was a fun day. During the free runs I tried drifting the course but the left and right hooks were too small for my second gear in 15s but my first gear was too short for any real attempts. It was drift limbo for me but I was able to pull some short and sweet sweepers for S&Gs.
March 2011 is the first Gymkhana event. I'll be out there.
Oh and I clocked the fastest times (30.84, 31.03 <-2 fastest times). Yippee!

I just want to say " THANK YOU " Jonas! I couldn't have made it home without your help! N there's was 1 more problem, I exhaust broke. I was 2 in my class n 5 overall. Wich is good for me...... For now, I'll be back! Pics n vids up later on tonight

I tried to beat Jonas but his car is way faster than me by a mile! But I will be coming back a lot faster , so watch out Jonas!
