car starts but turns of:HELP NEEDED

ok heres the deal, i got to turn on my car today the but the problem is that it only stays on for ten seconds.it also turns right off after you try revving and white smoke comes out om the intake(trhottle body).
any ideas

p.s. how would the car sound if the timing is off , or what would it do???

Check and make sure that all connectors are plugged in..... grounds on.... etc. etc.

how do you know its coming out of the throttle body you should have a afm and a intake pipe on the throttle body that would keep smoke from coming out

well the air filter is off as well as the intake pipe, i alredy conected all grounds

that's why then... the afm isn't plugged in or at least connected to the rest of the intake.

yeah without the afm/intake pipe hooked up the car will not run
