How much does my car weigh?

Post by hvguy »

We just got out digital load cell scale in today, and I was anxious to weigh the corolla.... since its never been weighed before.

Wanna guess?

4 gals of fuel, 4ac, T50 tranny, momo racing seat. No other seats. Stock back bumper and no front bumper. with 14" stock GTS wheels all around with 185/70's in the back and 196/60's in the front

whaa!! 1807 lbs accurate within .01lbs.

I weigh exactly 135lbs, so its all under 2k!!

Cool beans.

I REALLY WANT TO!!!!! But duplicolor sells a paint called mirage. And its like that chameleon paint, but im not sure how good it looks....

I know for a fact you cant see the strokes with this red shit, but I dunno about the mirage.

We'll see.

Im trying to get some kind of sponsorship going so the paint will be affordable. But thats all WIP

lol, and you can see in that pic where the strap crushed my fender.... But I fixed it after that. Gotta love sheet metal.

Also- the scale is rated good up to 10klbs, but can exceed it rating by 3X so its ok for 30,000lbs, but only a few times. Then ill have to get it re-calibrated.
